Blog: Your Life as a comedian?
Ijoba: It hasn't been
an easy journey if you ask me and I strongly believe that am not there yet... Comedy
is somehow hard in this other parts of the world, because everyone here is
funny (or so we all think) You might crack a joke thinking it's the best
but they'll just laugh and be like *"Is this the best you've got???"*
But we're getting
there though
Ola Entertainment
Blog: When did you delve into to comedy?
Ijoba: 2014
Ijoba: Been listening
to *Gordon's comedy clinik* since 2011 and that was how I discovered this
talent as a comedian.

Blog: Any ups and downs in the industry?
Ijoba: Yeah a lot. Sometimes
event organizers don’t help at all. But these days we don't charge for the job
we're rendering.
We charge fees base on
the experience we've had over the years
Ola Entertainment
Blog: What are the solutions to these problems?
Ijoba: Well. The
industry is very big and this is why you see most upcoming acts diverting into
other part of entertainment like acting and skit making. People want to
pay their bills and performing as standing up comedians or MCs alone won't pay
those bills.
We have so many
upcoming acts now e, even I myself I’m an upcoming act. The only difference is
that some of us have passion for it; we believe in comedy, we know it's more
than just cracking jokes because there's always a message to pass...
While some are just
trooping in for the money and popularity.

Blog: Where do you see yourself in the future?

a successful entrepreneur and also an entertainer
Ola Entertainment
Blog: Your advice to the youth out there
Ijoba: All that
glitters are not gold, don't let anybody entice with things that may ruin your
life. Believe in urself and ur hustle, as long as your hustle is legit then it
will definitely yield positively. Don't wait for any
motivational speaker to motivate you with mere words, wake up and face
life.
