 Rhymestar: My name is Ottah John Peter

Rhymestar: I’m an undergraduate student studying mass communication in the National Open University of Nigeria. Dad was a civil servant but now a pensioner 
Mum is a vast trader and a tailor. Family of  7.
I’m second to the last child



Ola entertainment blog: Your journey into the music world?

 Rhymestar: It’s been God, nothing good comes easy, it’s never all that juicy but I’m grateful to God for all he’s done for me

Rhymestar: Rhyme Star

Ola entertainment blog: How did you get the name?

Rhymestar: I started off my career in high school as a writer and a rapper 
I love rhymes so much, my mates already knows me for this. They started calling me Rhymes and Mum always tells me I’m a star 
That’s how I was able to come up with the name “Rhyme Star “

Ola entertainment blog: Apart from music, what else do you do?

Rhymestar: I’m into fitness and wellness 
I’m the founder of @rhymestarfitness

Ola entertainment blog: How are you combining school and music?

Rhymestar: It’s honestly not easy but I’m coping, I just want to do the best I can for myself

Ola entertainment blog: What motivates you?

Rhymestar: Consistency & commitment 
The goal is way too big, I just have to keep pushing cuz I know it’s all gonna be okay someday

Ola entertainment blog: Who is your role model?

Rhymestar: Everyone is unique in their own way.
Im not copying anyone else nor  burdened by the ambition to be  like someone else. I am my role model. 

Ola entertainment blog: Do your parents support your dream?

Rhymestar: Started as a footballer and I have even played for sunshine junior team as their midfielder but dad didn’t support it. I was little I didn’t get the financial support I needed, so I quit. But I think my parents are super proud of me currently

Ola entertainment blog: Where do you see yourself in the nearest future?

Rhymestar: I’d be one of the biggest city boys 
While touring round the world, using my music to spread love and unite the world. By God’s grace I want to be able to own one of the best gym houses across the globe

Ola entertainment blog: Do you have any forthcoming project?

Rhymestar: I’m currently working on dropping an Extended Play(E.P) of 6 tracks 
And it’s going to be massive, I recorded one of the songs on my E.P  titled “Better Days”  before the pandemic, I’ll release it when the pandemic is over

Ola entertainment blog: Your advice to the youths out there



Rhymestar: The world is a small place 
Show love, spread love, give the needy even when you don’t have, while you elevate yourself elevate your brothers too. Be self motivated
