Ola Entertainment Blog: As an aspiring photographer what motivated you?
Slum Jigga: Well as an aspiring photographer what motivates me like i always tell everyone around me is the SLUMS (ghetto)
Ola Entertainment Blog: So you mean your aspect of photography is for the people living in the Slum
Slum Jigga: My focus is not only the SLUMS but also the street and also lifestyle
Ola Entertainment Blog: How have you been d
Coping with the negativities around you
Slum Jigga: It has not been easy i won't lie to you but I'll always be thankful to God for the people he placed around me because to achieve anything or be anything in life you need people with a positive and supportive mind. Besides one needs self discipline also and these are things that has been keeping me on the right track
Ola Entertainment Blog: Have you embarked on any project to support your dreams
Slum Jigga: Yess I've worked on some projects and I'm currently working on a documentary which i believe is going to come out amazing because i was able to make some connections and get people to support the brand and they've been really supportive
Ola Entertainment Blog: Can you give us a glimpse of what the documentary is about
Slum Jigga: Of course 80% of it is based on SLUMS in Lagos state, while 20% is based on street and lifestyle of lagosians. There are a lot of SLUMS in Lagos but some people don't really know this, so in this documentary people will see the SLUM in Makoko, Ajegunle, Ijora-badia, Oshodi, Ojuelegba and many more
Ola Entertainment Blog: Do your parent support your dreams
Slum Jigga: Yes my parents gave me their full support and trust me it has also been a source of inspiration
Ola Entertainment Blog: Do have any social media handle that people can follow
Ola Entertainment Blog: What's your advice to the youths following your footsteps
Slum Jigga: My advice to the youths is that. Always be yourself no matter what people say and whatever you do make sure your parents are happy with it and also never forget your root because you're an instrument of change. We blame the government for not doing some things that are needed but the plain truth is how will they get through to the grassroots without our assistance to see what's there in the grassroots so just try to be a voice and strive to be heard
Ola Entertainment Blog: Thanks for having us sir. Good night
Slum Jigga: A very big thank you to you too sir
